Any vehicle is hired : Car, Van, Minibus and Bus, the itinerary do not change. During this tour we
do not have any particular restrictions for Busses. Is always better to hire a tour assistant for group
by busses but sometime an english speaking bus driver is enought.
When english speaking bus drivers are availabe.
From Livorno harbour to the heart of Costa degli Etruschi is just a little more than 1 h.30min driving Time. Costa Degli Etruschi is the 3rd most famous wine area in Tuscany after Chianti and Brunello. It is a large area along the Coast of Tuscany: from Livorno till south of Piombino about 60miles. This area includes many little hamlet: Bolgheri, Cecina, Campiglia Marittima, Castagneto Carducci, Suvereto, Populonia, Baratti, Sassetta, Vada, Quercianella, Castiglioncello, Venturina, San Vincenzo, Bibbona, Montenero, Rosignano Marittima. Here are produced white wines and roses. The most popular wine is Vermentino. The heart of the Costa degli Etruschi is the area between Bolgheri and Castagneto Carducci. Is a MUST drive or walk along the famous Bolgherese road . A beautifull street that leads till Bolgheri, caractherized by cypresses alng the 2 sides of the road. Via Bolgherese street is the main wine road of the Etruscan Coast. Along this way is easy to find Agriturismos, osterias, farms, restaurants and many cellars and wine estates. Az.Agr.
