Your driver will pick you up and return you to your hotel location in Tuscany. At the end of theday, if you wish to conclude you visit at a different location than where you are staying we canarrange that too. From that spots you will be escorted by walking with your tour assistant to the Miracle Square. From here you can enjoy the day bywalking to visit the following complex of monuments: Cathedral, Baptistery, Museum of theCathedral, the cemetery and the most famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. If you are a small groupof 8 people or less you will be driven by car or van to the foot of the Leaning Tower. If you wishto take the climb in the Leaning Tower it is suggested that you make a reservation. This mustbe done on your own but we can assist you with this if you prefer. Please let us know prior toyour trip. The average time in Pisa is between 1-1.5 hours unless you wish to extend it.From Pisa you can travel to San Gimignano. The drive to this charming wonderful medievaltown is about 1.5 hours. You will travel partially on the superstrada and partially along therolling hills of the Tuscany county side while passing through quaint little villages. This area ismost popular for the truffle mushrooms. Along the drive you will also see old abandon tobaccofactories as well as beautiful olive farms and vineyards. Tobacco used to be the main cultivation in this area but today it is mainly wheat and corn. San Gimignano sits on a hilltop with an encircling wall for an unforgettable view. This Tuscan town is surrounded by fantastic stone walls that were once used to protect the people of the town. It is famous for its medievalarchitecture, unique in the preservation of about a dozen towers which are used as house tower during the medieval times.
Two hours is the average time tourists wish to visit this charming town, however, somewish to extend their time walking, eating and shopping. Please let your driver know what youprefer to do. From San Gimignano to Siena is a 40 minute ride along the main superstrada of Tuscany. If you travel by bus the driver will let you off in the bus area of the Medici Fortress. From there you will walk with the tour assistant for 15 minutes to the center. If you are traveling by car or van the driver will enter the center and drive along the main street, Via di Citta and drop you off at the Cathederal. At the end of your visit the driver will pick you up in front of the city hall in the main square. In Siena you will have the opportunity to walk through the charming little streets and the wonderful squares such as Piazza del Campo where the Palio horse race takes place every year. Santa Maria della Scala Cathedral and San Domenico Basilica are also beautiful places to visit and a must see. The small city center is mostly pedestrian traffic and easy to visit in a few hours (2-3 hours average).From Siena the driver will take you back to your hotel.
