For all cruise passengers navigating in the Mediterranean and elsewhere, Private Tuscany Tours organises excursions from every mooring quay: Leghorn (Florence), Civitavecchia (Rome), Naples, La Spezia (Cinque Terre - Portofino), Venice. You will enjoy a personalised tour and you will decide the details: pick-up time, itinerary, time to be devoted to each stop, return time. Everything will be agreed upon with the staff of PTT (Private Tuscany Tours) who will tell you the journey times and give you the best advice to avoid wasting time and making the most of the hours available for seeing the places you prefer. You can’t do this if you take part in the tours organised by the Cruise.
PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING NOTES
- All the tours from cruise ships are Full Day, meaning a maximum of 8 hours of availability of the vehicle/driver/assistant from pick-up to drop-off at the cruise ship.
- Our vehicles are authorised to go alongside the ship at the gangway, UNLESS OTHERWISE INDICATED BY THE SHIP’S CAPTAIN, IN WHICH CASE, THE DRIVER WILL LEAVE THE VEHICLE AS NEAR AS POSSIBLE AND WILL COME AND MEET YOU AT THE GANGWAY.
- The driver or assistant will meet you at the end of the gangway when you get off the ship; you will easily recognise him because he will hold a card with your name on it (or anything else, agreed upon previously together).
- The price includes: driver + vehicle (car - van - bus) + city admission taxes + port admission taxes + vehicle insurance + motorway tolls + fuel.
- The price does not include everything that is not mentioned in “the price includes” note, therefore, it does not include restaurants, admission to museums, tasting sessions, extra time after the 8 hours available.
- If you like to see churches, please be reminded that appropriate clothing is required: shoulders covered and long trousers. In many places like the Tower of Pisa, the Vatican Museums and Saint Peter’s Cathedral in Rome, backpacks are not allowed.
